3. Steps to Solve Comprehension

  1. Read the passage carefully – Kwanza soma kwa makini, usikimbilie maswali.
  2. Understand the main idea – Tambua wazo kuu la kifungu (main idea = wazo kuu).
  3. Underline key words – Chora maneno muhimu yanayosaidia kujibu maswali.
  4. Analyze the questions – Angalia aina ya maswali: factual, inference, vocabulary, or opinion.
  5. Find answers in the passage – Tumia maneno muhimu kuyapatia majibu sahihi.
  6. Write your answers clearly – Andika kwa maneno yako, lakini usibadilishe maana.
  7. Check spelling and grammar – Hakikisha haina makosa ya tahajia na sarufi.

4. Types of Questions
